Artist Residencies Program
Building on our cultural heritage to define tomorrow's contemporary arts scene
Our aim with our Artist Residencies Program is to provide artists with the means to mount exhibitions of institutional scope by exploiting our partner spaces and cultural exploration initiatives. The first residency period will take place at an iconic Côte d'Azur location, the Bastide du Roy in Antibes. This site is of significant historical importance and has been home to some of the most important artists of the 20th century. Nestled in the heart of the Côte d'Azur, this unique program runs parallel to the Cannes Film Festival and will continue throughout the summer, guaranteeing unrivalled opportunities for emerging artists.
The program is meticulously crafted to afford the artist an exclusive creative environment for an approximate duration of one month. Following this period, Darmo commits to hosting an exhibition within the same venue, showcasing the artist's work and promoting it across Darmo's network.
Throughout the year, the program will continue at our partner venues such as the Palais Ghica Victoria in Bucharest, Romania.
