The Darmo Art Prize serves as a powerful platform to propel the career of emerging artists of any nationality, providing them with a significant opportunity to gain international recognition. We are committed to fostering an environment that not only acknowledges the artistic prowess of emerging talents but also actively contributes to the longevity and sustainability of their careers, ensuring that their creative endeavours receive the attention and acclaim they truly deserve.
The Darmo Art Prize is accessible to artists up to 35 years old, irrespective of their nationality, gender, or chosen artistic medium. This award encompasses a broad spectrum of artistic practices, from painting and sculpture to installation, video art, and beyond. We look for artists whose practices challenge and/or build on to art history.
Darmo is bringing to France a jury of the most exceptional international influence and distinction. It is composed of diverse leaders that will join forces to cover all aspects of the development of an artist's career: from exhibitions, residencies on our end, to institutional, market and public recognition.
The scientific side of the jury combines the most powerful networks in the art industry, while the other side is comprised of public figures that throughout their careers have redefined the industry around them.
